Let’s echo together because it’s not that we should bring the Change, it is that we have to bring the change.
Pakistan of today is not what the founding fathers of this country perceived. I am not going to repeat all that hackneyed philosophy behind the creation of Pakistan; I believe every Pakistani knows, at least, the main essence of it. But from all the chaos around us, we can definitely devise that this is not what Pakistan was meant for. The questions arise here are that: what went wrong during the course of the time that we are on the verge being doomed today, and what we can do to avoid this fate.
Many experts and people of knowledge have offered their explanation about the former question and I do not consider myself more credible than them to offer an explanation. About the latter question, I am also unable to answer that what we can do to avoid the fate of being doomed, but one thing an optimistic person inside me could tell is that the initiative to change the trajectory of Pakistan in a positive direction can only come from the youth, the generation X or the student community.
The first generation Pakistanis, who got this country straight from the hands of our founding fathers, and the second generation Pakistanis did all what they could do to get this country on the track. Unfortunately, they failed badly. The remaining few wise souls from above mentioned generations (the lawyers community) showed the maximum they could do to change this country in the recent past, and it is out of their hands to bring the change that the country needs. It is the youth of Pakistan that could capitulate the momentum provided by the lawyers movement for their sake because it is their future which is at stake with Pakistan.
The purpose of “The Student's View” is to get the different voices from the youth of Pakistan to echo together for the change. The change we need for our survival, the change we have to bring because, as mentioned above, at stake is our future and the future of our coming generations.
The blog aims to get the Pakistani students from all walks of life, from all over the world together to create the healthy dialogue needed to wake up the sleepy souls. My role in “The Student's View” will be of a moderator. I will bring the topic from various areas with my take and leave the rest on the readers. The whole discussion will formulate the student take of the topic.
